Know Why The Path Season 4 Was Cancelled?

The Path Season 4 Updates: ‘The Path,’ a Hulu Original, just finished its third season, and despite strong reviews (it has an 80 percent Rotten Tomatoes rating), Hulu has announced that the show will not be renewed for a fourth season. We’ll talk about the show and why it’s coming to an end in the sections below.

Jessica Goldberg’s American drama stars Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad, Michelle Monaghan, and Hugh Dancy. The show follows members of a fictional church known as the Meyerist Movement, which is a cult-like hierarchy made up of several philosophies and rituals.

Eddie (Aaron Paul) is filled with newfound doubt for their faith after returning from a spiritual retreat in Peru, while the other members are dealing with the impending death of its founder, Doctor Stephen Meyer.

Hulu ordered the first season in 2015, and after a successful premiere, the series was quickly renewed for a second season, which premiered in early 2017. The third season’s final episode aired on March 28, 2018, and just over a month later, Goldberg confirmed that the show will not be renewed for a fourth season.

Some of you may be dismayed to learn that there is no especially compelling story of controversy and intrigue behind the discontinuation of The Path.

Hulu appears to have decided that The Path has reached its conclusion and has capped the series at 36 episodes. You may have noticed that many of Hulu’s early Originals, such as Shut Eye, Casual, and Difficult People, have been cut off. We believe this is because, as a result of the huge success of The Handmaid’s Tale and The Looming Tower, they are making room for other and potentially more prestigious projects.

Don’t be too disappointed by this news; Hulu has additional shows in the works, including the Stephen King series Castle Rock and George Clooney’s Catch-22.
